About OSA

Mission

The primary priority of the Senior Advisor is advancing the RFK Stadium redevelopment. The Office of the Senior Advisor focuses on cross-agency alignment, ensuring the redevelopment remains consistent with broader District priorities and that major workstreams remain integrated. The Senior Advisor also leads the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of DC's programs in celebration of America's 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence by aligning District agencies, cultural institutions, community partners, and federal stakeholders around a unified vision that reflects Washington DC’s unique role in America's history as the nation’s capital.

Summary of Services

The Office of the Senior Advisor consists of three offices. The Office of Policy and Legislative Affairs, performs policy analysis, develops policy issues and marshals the Mayor’s legislative agenda. The Office of Federal and Regional Affairs serves as the liaison to federal agencies and advises the Mayor on the key issues with our regional partners and Capitol Hill.
